Transforming an empty tenancy into a fully operational medical practice is a complex journey. One that requires strategic planning, thoughtful design, and seamless execution. At SoulMED, every project is approached as an opportunity to create a space that not only meets clinical requirements but also enhances patient experience and supports staff efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this project breakdown, we take a closer look at the Epic Health Ocean Grove Marketplace medical clinic fitout, highlighting how a carefully managed process can take a bare shell and turn it into a warm, modern, and highly functional healthcare environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stage 1: Vision & Planning<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Every successful fitout begins with a clear vision. For Epic Health, the goal was to move away from the cold, sterile feel often associated with medical spaces and instead create an environment that feels welcoming, calm, and contemporary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Working closely with Peggy Leung, Director of Epic Health, our team established key project priorities early:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stage 2: Designing for Atmosphere & Experience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
A major focus of the project was redefining how a medical clinic feels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through considered use of colour, materials, and lighting, the design introduces warmth without compromising professionalism. Epic Health\u2019s brand palette was subtly integrated across key areas and feature walls, helping to create a cohesive and recognisable identity throughout the space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
